Easter options for adults

Updated: Mar 18, 2021

Let's do brunch.

The Lake Minnetonka area is known for great restaurant patios, upscale dinner spots and a handful of brunch options. But as Easter approaches, the area ups it's brunch game tenfold. And it's not too late to make your reservation! Some nearby Easter brunches worth considering are those served at Bellecour, Benedict's, BLVD Kitchen and Bar, Coalition, CoV, Gold Nugget Tavern & Grille, Hazellewood Grill and Tap Room, Ike's, Lago Tacos, Lord Fletcher's, Maggie's, Maynard's, Ninetwentyfive, Primo Plates & Pours, and Victoria Burrow, to mention a few.

I've had the pleasure to attend brunch at Benedict's (so fresh), Gold Nugget (such an amazing selection), and Lord Fletcher's (delicious classics).

But let's be honest, with or without the kids, the best part of brunch is the cocktail! A classic brunch will serve some version of a Mimosa [side note: both Ninetwentyfive and Victoria Burrow will have BOTTOMLESS MIMOSAS] and of course a Bloody Mary, but others go beyond ordinary with a specialty cocktail menu like the one at Maynard's in Excelsior, and the unique selection at the famous Bellecour Wayzata brunch. I look forward to hearing which brunch you take part in, and more importantly, which libation you choose!

PSA: Mother's Day is less than a month away (Sunday, May 12th). Many of these eateries offer a Mother's Day Brunch as well.
