Hop to it

Easter is THIS Sunday.

“Don't stop at the egg hunt.”

Celebrating holidays is so much fun when you're a child, but you too can enjoy the family-time when you get in on the action! Do the egg hunt, of course, then keep the excitement going with additional activities (bonus, this helps distract the littles from all that candy they just acquired).

A family favorite in our house is Pin the Tail on the Bunny. Simply print out or draw an image of a bunny sans-tail, and put some double-sided tape on cotton balls (or even use white paper). Don't forget the blindfold! Last year we picked up some slingshots (basic, kid-safe ones) with cotton "tails" from Target! You can have a Bunny Tail Fight, or set up something to aim for like landing it in an Easter basket to make it a skill competition. Adults often get in on this one (and a bit competitive too). If you're looking to burn off some of those brunch calories, try a relay race using a carrot as the baton (though you'll need to upgrade to legit carrots, not the baby ones), and don't forget the bunny ears!
